SCHEDULE
CLASS START DATES
New classes begin the first Monday of each Month at 0900.
FIRST WEEK OF TRAINING
The first week of class will be an accelerated ground school course.
The course is 40 hours total and begins at 0900 each day.
The ground school will run Monday through Saturday this first week and cover all CFI ACS/PTS Subject Areas.
SECOND AND THIRD WEEKS
The second and third weeks of class will contain the flight training lessons.
During the flight training, you will acquire your Spin Endorsement and at least 8 hours of Checkride Prep flights.
Flying will be accomplished from the right seat.
FOURTH WEEK OF TRAINING
Depending on Examiner Availability, your Checkride will be held toward the end of the third week to the middle of the fourth week.

LOCATION AND HOUSING
Training is held at the Ogden-Hinckley Airport in Ogden, UT.
If you will be joining our class from out of state, we suggest staying at an Extended Stay Hotel such as the
Hampton Inn and Suites (or any other your prefer).
There are also many Airbnb's in the local area that could be satisfactory.

You are able to finance your full cost of training as well as the housing costs (if applicable/desired).

STEP 2: COMPLETE YOUR WRITTEN TESTS
Complete your FIA and FOI Written Tests prior to your course start date.
You can study for these Written Tests here.
Ensure you bring these Written Test Results to class with you.
*These Written Tests do not require a CFI Endorsement.*
STEP 4: DOCUMENTATION CHECK
Ensure you have the following: (and bring them to class with you)
- Current FAA Medical Certificate
- Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane Single Engine Land
- Driver's License and Birth Certificate or Unexpired Passport
STEP 5: REQUEST YOUR CLASS DATE
Once all other prerequisite steps are complete, submit your class date reservation form through the link below.
REQUEST A CLASS DATE
After requesting a class date, you will be emailed an invoice of $2,000 to pay your Ground School Deposit. Once the invoice is paid, your enrollment will be finalized.
Notice: If you are financing your course, the Ground School Deposit will already be taken care of.
*Enrollment is limited to 6 students per class.*
STEP 6: COMPLETE CHECK-IN PAPERWORK
Following completion of all steps listed above, you will be emailed a check-in paperwork form to complete prior to your class start date.
FAQs
MUST I PAY MY DEPOSIT TO SECURE MY START DATE?
Yes. Your Ground School Deposit of $2,000 must be paid to secure your class start date.
MUST I COMPLETE MY FIA AND FOI WRITTEN TESTS PRIOR TO MY START DATE?
Yes. Failure to complete these Written Tests could result in course cancellation. In which case, your Ground School Deposit may not be refunded.
MUST I PURCHASE THE CFI LESSON PLANS FROM wifiCFI?
No. These lesson plans are optional for your Checkride. However, we will send you downloadable lesson plans once your Ground School Deposit is paid so you can begin studying.
WHAT IF I NEED MORE THAN 10 HOURS OF FLIGHT TIME?
The course cost includes 10 hours of flight training toward your CFI Checkride. If you need more than 10 hours of training, you will simply be billed hourly for the additional training time.
WHAT IS YOUR CHECKRIDE PASS RATE?
The National Average Pass Rate for the CFI Initial Checkride is close to 50% (this is a very difficult Checkride). However, wifiCFI boasts a Checkride Pass Rate of 80%! This is due to our strict enrollment processes, industry experience, top notch lesson plans, endorsement runner scenario, and more.
