ELIGIBILITY
18 Years Old.
Read, write, speak, and understand English.
Pass Written Test.
Pass Checkride Exam.
Hold Private Pilot Certificate.
FLIGHT HOURS
250 hours Total Time
100 hours in Powered Aircraft, 50 in Airplanes.
100 hours PIC that consists of:
50 in Airplanes
50 hours Cross Country, 10 in Airplanes
20 hours of training that consists of:
10 hours Instrument training, 5 in single engine airplane
10 hours training in Complex Airplane
One 2 hour day Cross Country, straight line 100nm
One 2 hour night Cross Country, straight line 100nm
10 hours Solo Time or PDPIC that consists of:
300nm flight with 3 landings, one leg must be 250nm
5 hours night VFR with 10 takeoffs and landing at towered airport
RECENCY
To Act as PIC:
Flight Review every 24 Calendar Months.
To Act as PIC Carrying Passengers (Day):
3 Takeoffs and Landings in preceding 90 days in Category, Class, and Type.
To Act as PIC Carrying Passengers (Night):
3 Takeoffs and Landings in preceding 90 days in Category, Class, and Type. Landings must be at Night and to a Full Stop.
MEDICAL CERTIFICATES
First Class:
Privileges = Exercise ATP Certificate.
Durations = 6 Calendar Months if over 40 years old. 12 Calendar Months if under 40 years old.
Second Class:
Privileges = Exercise Commercial Certificate.
Durations = 12 Calendar Months regardless of age.
Third Class:
Privileges = All other operations.
Durations = 24 Calendar Months if over 40 years old. 60 Calendar Months if under 40 years old.
