Postflight Procedures
When a pilot completes an Instrument Flight, it is important that he/she notes down any instruments or navigation equipment that may have been inoperative at any time during that flight.
This written record should be shared with the necessary personnel (maintenance, other pilots, aircraft owner, etc.) so that they are aware of the inoperative equipment and make sure to have it checked out by the proper maintenance personnel prior to the next Instrument Flight.
